Sean MenardFilm Director
Born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario Sean Menard has made his mark as one of the top sports documentary film makers in the business. His pathway to his current success has not been easy but he is a strong believer that his struggles have contributed to the hunger within that pushes him to always work even harder.
He began his journey working at The Score Sports Network in Toronto, Ontario as a Producer and Content Editor. Everything was going well until the news broke that The Score was being sold to fellow network Sportsnet. Once the company was sold this led to restructuring of the company and Sean was assigned a different role working in a department that he was not passionate about. Sean then decided to take a leap of faith and bet on himself. He started to make his own films documenting the untold stories in sports history.
His filmography includes Connor McDavid: Transitions Part I & II, The Perfect Storm: Story on the 1994 Montreal Expos, Fight Mom: Michelle Waterson and his most recent film The Carter Effect which was the hottest ticket at the world renowned Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). He had the pleasure to co-produce the film with LeBron James, Drake, Future The Prince and Co-Founder of Springhill Entertainment Maverick Carter.
Sean has an extremely bright future ahead and is dedicated to giving back to the youth in his community. As a member of the influential team Sean is actively involved in mentorship events and developing the future stars in the film industry.
